Meet Kass Aitken: Raleigh’s Lash Health Advocate and Expert in Custom Lash Extensions
Hello! I’m Kass Aitken, a certified lash artist and the founder of Lash Narrative in Raleigh, NC. I bring nearly a decade of experience to my lash work, but more than that, I bring a passion for keeping lashes healthy, safe, and beautiful. My journey in the lash industry began with a commitment to excellence, and over the years, I’ve focused on creating services that prioritize both aesthetic appeal and the health of the natural lash line.
A Lash Artist with a Focus on Ocular Health
With a certification from the National Association of Lash Artists (NALA) and a deep understanding of ocular hygiene, I realized there was a need for services that went beyond extensions alone. My work has led me to develop Lash Narrative, a brand that’s about more than just lashes—it's about empowering clients with the knowledge to care for their eyes, eyelids, and lashes, ensuring their eyes remain healthy and their lashes retain their strength.
I have developed a comprehensive ocular hygiene curriculum specifically for lash artists, to benefit clients who may struggle with conditions like dry eye, blepharitis, or lash mites. This training has allowed me to provide the best in natural lash care, something I incorporate into my work daily to make sure my clients’ lash extensions look great and feel comfortable.

At Lash Narrative, I offer a range of options, including ultra natural lash extensions, each set tailored to my clients’ unique needs, facial measurements, eye measurements and desired look. My specialty lies in creating customized lash looks that enhance a client’s natural beauty without compromising lash health. I believe lash extensions should be an enhancement, not a replacement, for natural beauty. My approach is centered on enhancing my clients' features while respecting the integrity of their natural lashes.

Building a Lash Community in Raleigh
In addition to in-person services, I’m excited to expand my educational offerings to other lash artists. My goal is to elevate the industry standard by teaching safe, effective techniques for lash and ocular care. I recently developed an ocular hygiene training program for lash artists that covers essential topics like Meibomian gland function, treatments for blepharitis and MGD, and natural solutions for lash health. I also offer guidance on how to care for lash extensions, ensuring clients have the best possible experience with their lashes.
